Motability Scheme
The Motability Scheme has supplied over 2 million cars, scooters and powered wheelchairs to disabled customers since it was set up by the government in 1978.
To be eligible for the scheme you must be receiving one of the following benefits:- Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance
- War Pensioners´ Mobility Supplement
Obtaining your Scooter or Powered Wheelchair through the Motability Scheme allows you the freedom to choose what you do and when you do it. The Motability Scheme offers payment options specifically designed to meet the needs of customers.
The Motability Hire Plan
Gives customers the convenience of a fixed monthly payment with no deposit required. Within the payment that you make, you get the benefit of Breakdown Cover, Insurance, Warranty, Tyres and Batteries. All of which represents great peace of mind.
The Motability Purchase Plan
The Purchase Plan is commonly chosen by customers who prefer to own their Scooter or Powered Wheelchair and whilst payments are generally lower than the Hire Plan, the benefits are obviously not so extensive.
